The challenge
A B2C electronics e-commerce operates in a crowded market, where margins thin out if customer acquisition cost grows faster than revenue. The goal was to scale revenue beyond €4 million a year without letting CAC (customer acquisition cost) eat into profitability.
The strategy
As Growth Managers, we led growth with a multi-channel approach driven by data and automation. Google Ads Performance Max was integrated with a solid SEO architecture, so that paid and organic traffic add up instead of competing. On the retention side we optimised funnels and Email Automation flows, turning existing customers into a source of repeat sales.
The results
- Revenue above €4 million a year.
- CAC down 30%: from €86.43 to €60.52.
- Email automation sales: +173%.
- ROAS with peaks of 1895%.
Why CAC is the key metric
In e-commerce, growth is sustainable only if each new customer costs less than they are worth. Cutting CAC by nearly a third while revenue grew means the expansion was not bought at any price: every euro invested in acquisition returned more, and email automation multiplied the value of customers already won.
